Self-Proclaimed Popular Singer Uses Oklahoma Tornado Tragedy To Get YouTube Hits

Meet Roxy Darr.  You may know her from the "world of contemporary hit radio" which is where her website claims she is from.  You probably also know her songs as well because, again as her web site says, they "...can be found chart topping on iTunes".

Well what Roxy appears to have done is change old video titles on her YouTube page using text from trending topics to generate more views.  This time it appears she has changed a few of her videos to add words like "Moore", "Oklahoma", and "Tornado". Quite Classy.

So how do we know that she changed things?  Perhaps because YouTube tells you when videos were posted, and 3 of her videos mentioning the tornado were published BEFORE the event actually happened.

Interesting.  2 days ago.  1 week ago.  I could have sworn the tornado happened on Monday.  You will also notice that she uses the name of someone named Alexis who "butchered" a National Anthem, to get people to watch her version.  Here's another Tornado one from a year ago.

HMM...Oh look what happened when I googled "Roxy Darr Boston Bombings"

Looks like she probably altered other video titles in the past too, these appear to have been changed.

The YouTube page being discussed is here, and links directly from her website, which is here.  All signs point to this being her page.  Someone should take note and stop doing it, specifically with tragedies.
